Rosenthal Elfenbein Kronach - Germany Demitasse Cup & Saucer Tea Set for 6, c.1891

Amazing antique mini tea cup duos tea set for 6, manufactured by Rosenthal & Co - Germany at the Kronach factory. Lovely Rosenthal Bavaria pattern, designed in white and milk purple with small pink cabbage roses, heavily decorated with gold filigree. Extremely rare hand painted backs on cups and saucers both - dark green, surrounded by pink roses, painted over the maker's mark, which still readable and dates the set as made between 1891-1906. The mark shows an “X” with crown in top portion, “R.” to left, “C.” to right and most likely “Bavaria”  underneath. The tea set is in great antique condition, except a small chip on one of the cups (please see photos).
