Romantic Paragon "Bridesmaid" Pattern Tea Cup and Saucer Duo, c.1957

This very feminine collectable vintage duo is decorated with a garland of pink and yellow roses on a light blue panel. The bisque is crisp white. It is ribbed and slightly scalloped. There is another small spray of roses on the inside of the cup, making drink a visual pleasure as well. Made out of bone china, it is sure to keep your tea hot longer. Both pieces have been marked with the multicolored Paragon stamp with the pattern name 'Bridesmaid'. This mark was used by the Paragon China Co. Ltd., Longton, Staffordshire, England starting 1957.

The pedestal cup stands 3 1/4 inches tall to the top of the ornate handle and measures 3 1/4 inches in diameter on the upper rim. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter.

This duo is in very good vintage condition with just a whisper of wear. There are no chips, cracks nor crazing.
