An antique, mid 18-th century large serving platter, made in Nanking(Nanjing), Eastern China, dated between 1750-1760. An exceptionally fine quality of hand decorated in underglaze blue on white ground Chinese porcelain meat platter/serving dish of shaped octagonal oval outline. Decoration of central landscape - a flower garden under a weeping willow, adorned with filigree and floral motifs border. Non glazed back, typical for the period - the Qianlong era.  Emperor Qianlong was the sixth emperor of the Manchu-led Qing dynasty, who reigned officially from October 1735 to February 1796. His reign was considered The Golden Age of China. Item's condition is very good, considering the age of such an early piece, except a crack in the bottom right corner (please see photos). Dimensions: Height - 27cm/10.5", Width - 35.5cm/14". A must have piece that would make a great acquisition to any antique, blue and white or Chinese/Asian porcelain collection.
