Royal Grafton 'Malvern' Pattern Tea Set - 14pcs
Royal Grafton bone china breakfast cup, saucer and side plate with a milk jug and a sugar bowl in the wonderful "Malvern" pattern from the 1950s. The pieces are white with a blue/yellow patterned edge, floral centers and band. The edges are scalloped and finished with gold trim. Backstamped with the maker's mark used by Royal Grafton between 1957-1961.
A breakfast cup is larger than a tea cup and so named as it was used at breakfast time giving a larger cup of tea.
The teacup stands 3" high and 3 3/8" across the rim, the saucer has a diameter of 6". The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or crazing.

Royal Grafton Fine Bone China Company, founded by Alfred Bailey Jones in 1900, was a large, family-owned pottery prominent in Staffordshire, England. Royal Grafton produced fine chinaware for 70 years. The Grafton mark is found on vintage collectible teapots, cups, plates and figurines.
